It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Well, not really, as I sit her writing this with the beautiful fall weather outside, but it will be here before we know it!
I know it’s only the middle of October, and I hate seeing stores in such a rush to put out Christmas decorations before Halloween. I really don’t want to be that way, but I thought I should give you an update.
I’ve bumped into several of you around town who have asked when you should schedule your holiday session, and I really wasn’t kidding when I said “Now”. ALREADY only a very limited number of evening and weekend sessions remain for October and November. As I only accept a limited number of sessions per month, these spots will go quickly. You may reserve weekday morning and early afternoon appointments online or you may contact me at 443-655-3529 to reserve evening and weekend appointments.
There is a $50 session fee which covers D’Nan’s time and talent to process your online gallery. Portrait print pricing starts at $12 for all images 5×7 and smaller and $20 for 8×10 gift portraits. Your session fee is waived with the advance purchase of a portrait collection, starting at $250.
With only a couple remaining Saturday openings, weekend appointments will require the advance purchase of a portrait collection of $250 or greater to confirm your October or November weekend appointment. Please contact D’Nan for additional investment information.
In an effort to put my family first and avoid overloading myself at the last minute, I’ve decided to accept an extremely limited number of appointments for December, all of which will require the advance purchase of a qualifying portrait collection at the time of booking. December portraits will require the purchase of a Diana session or greater ($500). This will allow me to fully enjoy the holiday season with my own family and at the same time give those who truly cherish portraits in front of the family Christmas tree an option to do this.
Also, for anyone wanting to order Christmas cards or portraits for Christmas gifts, all orders must be placed by December 1, 2008 unless purchased as part of a December session. Orders placed after December 1 will not be delivered until around January 10, 2009.
If you are interested in booking an appointment please call or email me as soon as possible to secure your spot. I will then begin taking names on a waiting list if there are any cancellations. I will begin booking appointments for 2009 on December 1, 2008.
The weather forecast for our area for Monday and Tuesday is for high temps in the mid to upper 60’s! There are still a few places around town with some beautiful fall foliage still on the trees. For November, we just can’t count on many more great days like these. For such beautiful November weather, I’ll open on a Monday!
