I spent the morning with a little girl who is ON THE MOVE!    A girl who knows what she wants… my kind of girl!  This little lady is such a doll baby!  Mommy, your gallery will be up shortly…I’m working on it!  Until then, here’s proof that we captured THE SMILE I was waiting for (and so many other great shots, too!)

Mommy… what a difference a nap makes!  I’m hard at work on your gallery, but I thought I’d still give you a sneak peek!  I’m hoping to have it up sometime today (or possibly early tomorrow if today doesn’t work out).  I’m not sure why you were worried about what we captured–have you LOOKED at this CUTIE PIE?  Enough gabbing… on to the pix!  Here are my 3 favorites!

You make my job SO easy!  To think… we captured these images without me needing to wear a pom pom on my head or do any silly antics.  Although, honestly… you know me so well… you know that I rather enjoy the silly antics.  Maybe next time I should plan to have a puppet take your portraits.  What do you think?

Even the kitty was well behaved and looked right at my lens.  What more could I ask for?

 This next one bothered me a bit… I know how old you are!  You almost look ready for senior photos!  I’m not ready for you to be that old yet!  (It seems like just yesterday that you were little.  I hope my baby girl doesn’t grow up so fast!)

Today was a LOT of fun for me!  I rolled out of bed just in time to go play with lots of beautiful girls today.  Yet AGAIN, I was reminded that I am the luckiest person I know… I just LOVE my job!  When you see how I spent my morning, you’ll understand why!

The only problem with this session was that there was just TOO much cute… I’m feeling indecisive… so your sneak peek will be a bit bigger than normal! 

Okay… so I have to confess…  I was SWEATING this evening.  After my sessions today, I enjoyed taking my family to see The Nutcracker (it’s a tradition in our family).  After the performance, I couldn’t wait to get a look at what we captured.  So I happily downloaded all of the images we captured to my computer.  Only to find… that NONE of the images from my NEW CAMERA (fun, fun, fun!) would open!  I kept getting the message that the files were possibly damaged… and my stomach started to feel sick!  Fortunately, the computer geek in me kicked in and as you can see by the images above… problem solved.  (For fellow tech nerds, the raw file format for my new camera was not recognized by any of the software on my computer–because the camera was newer than the most recent updates on my software.  Once I figured it out, a simple update and we were back in business!  And THAT my friends, is why it pays to be a computer geek!  See… computer science DOES come in handy for children’s photography… but I digress.  You’re not here for a geek message, but to see some cuties!)

Okay, Mom… not to say, “I told you so” … BUT… “I told you so!”

As promised… after we captured the memories that the mommies wanted… it was the girls’ turn to have some fun.  And do these girls ever know how to have fun!

Seriously… I had a lot of fun with all of you today!  I had a very hard time narrowing it down for this blog, and I don’t envy you for having to choose from so many gorgeous images of these adorable girls.
